Travel Information

Traveling to Boston

Nearest Airport – Boston Logan (BOS)

AMTRAK –

If you are coming from the South-South Station Boston

About a 15-minute walk from AKA Boston Common

If you are coming from the North (Maine, NH) – North Station Boston

About a 15-minute walk although some ways will have hills.

If you are coming from the East Coast, especially from Washington DC and north, I highly recommend looking at AMTRAK along the North East Corridor Line. Benefits—not having to be at the station early, luggage free, you can walk around the entire time, seats are much larger and use your phone and computer at any time. It’s also a more environmentally sustainable form of transportation. You also will not be as likely to have weather disruptions.

Driving

The drive into Boston especially through NJ, NY, and CT can be pretty challenging, especially with weather. Parking in Boston is also usually $65+ a night. The schedule has been built so you have lots of flexibility on Friday and Sunday for other kinds of transportation. Just some thoughts.
